I live in the US, I am a US citizen, I am Jewish, my ex husband is not Jewish. Many years ago (over 25 years), we were married by a Cantor, had a Jewish ceremony and signed a Catuba. We legally divorced after 3 years of marriage. Do I need a get?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

If your ex-husband was not Jewish, no get is necessary.

However, since you were married in a Jewish ceremony, an officiant at any subsequent Jewish marriage might require you to demonstrate that he was not Jewish.  If this was known to everyone at the time, this is probably not an issue.  But if there was any ambiguity at the time, it would be best practice to secure a formal letter from a beit din certifying that you are free to remarry.
